December 3rd, 2002 - Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue's Station 31 in suburban Lake Worth responded to a multi-vehicle accident.  Engine 31, Rescue 31, Special Operations 31, District Chief 9 and EMS Captain 9 responded when a police officer on scene reported a roll-over with people trapped.  The accident occurred mid-afternoon at the intersection of S. Congress Avenue and 6th Avenue South.

Units arrived and found the situation to be fairly minor, no extrication was required and none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.  Private ambulances were called to transport two patients to a local hospital for evaluation.
