Special Operations Rescue Engine 31

Rescue Engine 31 is a 2004 Freightliner FL 80 built by Ferrara.  It has a 1250 gallon per minute top-mount pump, carries 750 gallons of water and 15 gallons of foam.  It responds as part of one of the department's Special Operations Teams.

RE 31 responds with a crew of at least three; an Officer, a Driver/Engineer, and a Firefighter / Paramedic.  Fire Engines carry a variety of equipment and basically, they are a rolling tool chest carrying things like, hand tools, generators, axes, nozzles, smoke ejector fans, traffic cones, water coolers, three different ladders, brooms, air bottles, rope, hydraulic extrication tools and medical equipment.
